Bio Nancy Resto
Ms. Resto is a graduate of the urban district which she then served for almost 40 years. Ms. Resto worked within the Civil Service system in order to qualify for promotions over those years, working her way from clerical positions into department and school secretary roles. Ms Resto has experience recruiting students, coordinating recruitment events, and managing recruitment outreach. She provided a parent’s view to the district’s recruitment webpage and publications. She also maintained extensive databases on recruitment efforts. In her most recent assignment, Ms. Resto managed budgets in excess of $7M for a K-12 school with over 1000 students, in addition to directing the work of the office staff, working with concerned parents, and managing a wide variety of data collection and reporting.
Ms. Resto is bilingual in English and Spanish and has often served informally and formally as a trusted translator.
Ms. Resto is the proud mother of two daughters who have followed her into careers with the school district, and enjoys the devotion of three beautiful grandchildren.
